Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Mizicart collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our e-commerce marketplace app and website in India. We design our practices to align with applicable Indian privacy requirements, including principles under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), and related rules as they apply.

1. Data we collect

Account: mobile number, optional name and email, saved delivery addresses
Orders: cart and order details, payment status, delivery status, and any GSTIN you submit for invoices
Device and security: for each signed-in phone or computer, Manage Devices stores a device identifier, the device name, whether it is a PC or a mobile, the login date and time, the last-use date and time, and the delivery location already saved on that device (city, state, and PIN when you have set one). You can log out that one device, or every device, from Account → Manage Devices.
Support: messages you send through feedback, questions, or grievance forms
Preferences: marketing email / SMS choices you set in Legal & Policies (order and OTP messages may still be sent when needed for purchases)

2. Why we use your data

Create and secure your account, and process marketplace orders
Share fulfilment details with the seller and logistics partners for your order
Prevent fraud, abuse, and payment misuse
Provide customer support and grievance redressal
Improve the product and meet legal, tax, and accounting duties

3. Sharing

We share personal data only as needed with sellers (for fulfilment), payment gateways, logistics partners when used for your order, and government authorities when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Retention

Order, payment, and invoice-related records may be kept for GST, audit, and dispute periods even after you delete your account. Where feasible, personal fields on those records are anonymized. Profile data is removed on permanent account deletion as described in the app and in our Data deletion notice.

Download a snapshot of data stored on the device
Set marketing communication preferences
Deactivate your account, or permanently delete it (OTP required)
