Effective for: Mizicart e-commerce marketplace (app and website) in India.
Mizicart is a technology platform that lets buyers discover and purchase goods listed by independent sellers. We provide listing tools, checkout, payment facilitation, order status, and customer support channels. Unless a product page or invoice clearly names Mizicart as the seller, the contract of sale is between you and the seller.
1. Marketplace role
Mizicart acts as an intermediary / online marketplace under applicable Indian e-commerce and information-technology laws. Sellers are responsible for:
- Product authenticity, quality, description accuracy, and packaging
- Stock availability and lawful sale of listed goods
- GST invoices and tax compliance where required for their sale
- Dispatch and fulfilment, except where Mizicart expressly handles logistics for that order
2. What Mizicart does not guarantee
- That every listing matches the physical product beyond our reasonable listing and complaint processes
- Exact delivery dates controlled only by the seller or their courier (see Shipping Policy for how estimates work)
- Uninterrupted service of banks, UPI networks, or payment gateways
- Outcomes of disputes that must be resolved with the seller under law, though Mizicart may assist through in-app support
3. Listing photos and copyright
Sellers upload their own listing photos and text. The seller remains the copyright owner of that media. By listing, the seller grants Mizicart a limited license only to display the photos for catalogue, search, orders, and support. That is not a transfer of copyright — Mizicart does not become the owner of seller photos. Claims about stolen, fake, or brand images are the seller’s responsibility.
4. Your responsibilities as a buyer
- Enter a complete and correct delivery address and reachable mobile number
- Check parcels on delivery where practical and report damage or wrong items promptly
- Use return, exchange, replacement, and refund windows stated in the Refund & Return Policy and on the product page (including replacement-only categories)
